Picturesque villages, rolling hills and quintessential England.
A gentle day through the honey-coloured villages of the Cotswolds — an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty made of wool churches, dry stone walls and hills that roll away in every direction.
We take our time. There are two proper village stops with room to wander, find a tea room, browse a few shops and sit by the water, rather than a rush from one photograph to the next. If you want a day that feels like the England on the postcards, this is it.
Board your coach at the local pick-up point you chose when booking. Please arrive about 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
Your guide introduces the Cotswolds honey-coloured stone, wool churches and the countryside that made the region wealthy.
Time beside the low bridges and the River Windrush in one of the best-loved villages in England.
Free time for lunch in a village pub, a tea room, or on a bench by the water.
An afternoon stop in a village often called the prettiest in England, with time to wander and take photographs.
Back to your original pick-up point, with time to sit back after a full day out.
Every passenger must be able to board, disembark and travel on the coach independently, without assistance from the driver or Heritage Day Tours staff.
Our tour guides are happy to give reasonable help during the day, but cannot provide personal care or one-to-one mobility assistance.
Walking sticks and suitable mobility aids are welcome — please tell us when booking if you are bringing a larger aid so we can check coach storage.
